CSA or Farm Share
CSA, Community Supported Agriculture, is an old-time tradition developed to directly support your local farmer and receive orgainic produce throughout the season.
The CSA Member or Shareholder invests in the farm during late Winter and early Spring to aid in the preparations for the growing season and receives a basket of mixed vegetables at wholesale prices.
The seasonal produce is grown, harvested, packed and delivered fresh to a pickup site once a week for 20-weeks during peak season at a $400 value.
New! Introducing a Fall CSA for the 2010 growing season. The extended season will continue from October 16th – December 18th for 10-weeks for $200 and will be available at the Saturday Market.
CSA Farm Shares-- $400 value for 20-weeks
Mondays from-- May 31th— October 4th
-NOTE- The CSA program is a committment for both the farmer and the member to produce, deliver, and pick up every week for 20 weeks. Vacations are are not the farmer's responsibilty. Please notify the farmer not to pack the produce during vacation time, or simply have a friend or neighbor pick up for that week.
Farm Account
Use your Farm Account at both the Wednesday and Saturday Markets.
The Farm Account is recommended to families or individuals who prefer to buy fresh from the Farmer’s Market. The account system gives you the freedom to choose your week's supply of produce. Some regulations may apply.
In return for supporting the farmer in the spring, you receive an additional 10- percent added to your farm account.

The account is to be used for a variety of produce and limited to ONLY one basket of berries, up to a half pound of mixed greens, one basket of assorted heirloom tomatoes, and one half dozen eggs per market visit. Please keep in mind that Community Supported Agriculture aids the farmer to purchase seeds and supplies for the entire growing season. Once the shareholder buys a share of the farm, the funds are then used as "seed money" and is non-refundable under any circumstances. The supply of produce delivered each week is the farm share that the member has purchased.
Also, for the Farm Accounts, please keep up with your weekly visits and be sure to use up your credit before the end of October. The funds for the Farm Account are to be used only during the same year purchased and none there after. Credit left over will then become a donation to the farm.
